After checkout you'll get your download and license key by email. Follow these steps to install AlphaFX on MetaTrader 5. Stuck at any point? Message us on WhatsApp — we'll walk you through it.
Before you start: MetaTrader 5 installed, your license key (from your purchase email), and your own Anthropic API key (free to create — you only pay per use, typically a small daily amount). We'll show you where to get the API key in Step 6.
Download AlphaFX.ex5 from your purchase email or account.
Open MetaTrader 5 → File → Open Data Folder → open MQL5 → Experts → paste AlphaFX.ex5 there.
Close and reopen MT5 (or right-click Expert Advisors in the Navigator panel → Refresh). You'll now see AlphaFX listed under Expert Advisors.
Go to Tools → Options → Expert Advisors and tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL, then add these three addresses:

In the inputs tab, paste your License Key (from your purchase email) and your Anthropic API Key. To get an API key: go to console.anthropic.com → sign up → add a payment method → API Keys → Create key → copy it in. You keep your own key, so usage is billed directly to you (typically a small amount per day).
Make sure the Algo Trading button in the MT5 toolbar is green, confirm Allow Algo Trading is ticked in the settings window, and click OK.
The dashboard appears on your chart and AlphaFX starts analysing the market. That's it — it now runs on its own.

Prop firm users: some firms restrict or prohibit EAs and automated trading. Check your firm's rules before running AlphaFX on a challenge or funded account.
